Winter Break!!!

Hey peeps!

Winter break, time to kick back and relax right? WRONG! I still had a poster to complete, plus an upcoming science fair, yay..... Still, it's not as heavy duty as it was before winter break with hard core tests and quizes. Lunch seems like the best part of my school day these days. Still, middle school is pretty cool though, with fun activities and stuff. Did I mention the Kabul Marketplace project we had? We even have a D.A.R.E. program at my school! So far over my winter break, I've been just catching on some work, playing on the NEW IPAD AIR TWO I GOT!!!!, and watching movies. I actually watched the newly released Indian movie P.K., it was hilarious! Anyway, I am finally 12 years old. My cake was delicious, ice cream cake! My sis is finally 9 years old too. She had an awesome cake and party too!
I know 2015 will be a great year for me like 2014. Catch ya later!

Break-Yes!

Hi guys!

Wow, phew.....A break finally! It's when you get into middle school when you REALLY start cha rising breaks. With all the work and tests and projects, you forget what a break is. I am so happy that we get today, tomorrow, and of vourse, the weekend, off from school. We are off today and tomorrow actually because of teachers convention. Next week, I have three tests, and two studyguides to complete- uggh! Anyway, our community had a big halloween parade, pizza party, and appeared on the local news for Halloween! The mayor was at our community too! Our house just got blinds and a new table. We've put up lights and accesorized the house. I am on the last book of the Harry Potter series, so basically I am just going to be working, reading, playing, and relaxing all throughout the small break. Oh well- wish me luck!

Hey peeps!

I am soooo sorry for not posting for soooo long. Anyway, my new school is AMAZING! Its officially my second home! I made a lot of friends now, and my teachers are great! The work is easy, and I have gotten really good grades on everything so far.My favorite cl;ass is math- I feel as if I learn the most there and my teacher is smart, funny, and awesome! Their is a variety of specials that are included-industrial arts, world language, gym, art, music- you name it! The lunch their is delicious too! Their are many different choices of food you can pick from! Each grade in my school is divided into a specific team, and our grade is divided into teams Venture *(my team), Mosaic, Evolution, and Vista. This is to organize the 650 students in each grade into different teachers and classrooms. On team days,  teachers and students from a specific team get together in a ginormous assembly room and have fun! Also, teachers hand out raffle tickets to each student who is good and dos something good and they can win prizes from the raffle ticket on team days. The school is huge, and I am still adjusting to that and the lockers. Also, I GOT INTO THE GIFTED AND TALENTED PROGRAM AT MY SCHOOL!  Overall, my school is the place you would want to be!
Anyway, lets start the count down to Halloween!

Moving on

Hey everyone!

Well.... Summer is coming to an end. But hey, guess what? I am moving to another town! My new house is big and new.The neighborhood is peaceful. I may even get my own puppy! Of course, I will miss my current complex and friends, but we are all splitting up. Some of my friends are moving and some have moved. Yesterday one went to India for good. Its all really sad isn't it? Anyway, I stayed at my new house with my family already and I cant wait to start school there! The middle school is top rated and I am sure I will come across some friendly faces! My friends and I will all keep in touch by email, Google hangouts, and Clash Of Clans- our favorite game! Overall, its time to move on.....

Hi everyone!

Well, let me just start off by saying how disappointed I am that Argentina lost the cups. They still did SUCH an amazing job though. Germany is a great team, and even though they won, I am still with Argentina. Argentina fan today, tomorrow, and forever! I am also a Messi fan too. Go Messi!
Anyway, my friends and I threw a surprise farewell party for our friend and his sister at Merrill Park since they are leaving to India with their parents next month for good. We did a lot of planning- inviting people, decorating, deciding about the food and all. There was a farewell banner, a piniata, cupcakes, pizza, chips, punch, water, a gift, and a presentation of the memories we all had together growing up. The party was awesome! We played games, took pictures, and enjoyed the food. Our friend and his sister were grateful for the party.
Yesterday, the girls had a sleepover together at our other friend's house. It was really exciting! We watched a movie together and commented on the different parts together. We ate a delicious dinner together too and played cards. The game was so fun, we wanted to keep on playing it! Then, we put nailpolish on each other. I put on blue, gold, and green polish.  Next, one of the girls put pretty henna designs on our hands. We stayed up until 2:30 A.M. talking and talking and finally slept. The next day, unfortunately, after a great breakfast of pancakes and watermelon, the sleepover party ended.
Overall though, I did have a pretty swell time!

Lake George

Hi everyone!

Ok, so I went onmy first vacation this summer! It was AWESOME! I had a lot of fun. First, my family and I checked into our hotel, Holiday Inn. It had an indoor pool and outdoor pool, and a cute little restaurant too! After we checked in, my sister and I splashed in the indoor pool. I was sooooooo revealed when the water was warm! Then we went to an Italian resteraunt for my parents anniversary. We ate pasta and termasu for dessert. The next day we went to the actual " Lake George". It was gorgeous! I absolutely LOVED the view. My parents rented a boat there and my dad got a 10 minute lessen on how to drive it. Then we set off across the lake on a journey I like to call " The Sharma Express". My dad drove the boat pretty well ( except for one part where we almost capsized, but hey, he's a beginner right?)  and I enjoyed the cool water trickling down my face. Next, I played mini golf (I am not such a good player) and my sis and I each got a soveneir and icercream from Ben and Jerry. In the night, we got to sit on the dock and watch the pretty fireworks burst and spark color and light over the horizon of the lake for the fourth. Ooh lala! The next day we packed up and explored the beautiful town of Saratoga, which by the way had the best resort I have ever seen. I went horse back riding on a ginormous horse. After that, we changed into our bathing suits and relaxed on the lake George beach. My sister had a little water fight too.  I even sun bathed for the first time! We got icercream from Ben and Jerry's again next. Finally, it was time to go and take that long 4 hour drive back home. Overall, I had the best vacation ever!

Hi everybody!

So listen, I know I didn't write for AGES, but today I'm gonna fill you up on everything!
How awesome is it that it's summer? REALLY AWESOME!!! Just laying on the beach chillaxing under the sun. Exploring different places and everything. The summer also means you can consider yourself a higher grader. I just graduated from elementary school! Now, I'm a sixth grader.
To celebrate, my school gave the whole fifth grade a graduation party and graduation ceremony.  They were awesome! In the party, we danced until our sweat caused one big puddle on the floor! We even got the teachers to dance. The dj played our favorite tunes, and every 5 seconds you would see somebody go up there and request for him to play their jam. Also, there were sooooooooo many snacks. I filled my self up on chips, pizza, and punch.  Finally, the party was over... but everybody had a lot fun!
And of course, the graduation ceremony. In the graduation, all of the parents came. We wore formal clothing and tried to look our best. The fifth graders received certificates for graduating fifth grade, for club 100, and for any extracurricular activities. Then, one of the third grade teachers put together a short video together of the fun times we had at Kennedy Park school and of us when we were little ( we were so adorable). The principal cried  and so did some teachers.
There is also the talent show! In  Iselin Middle School, one of the teachers organized a talent show to raise money for the wounded warrior project.  Participants and the audience had to pay for the tickets to the show. In the show, I performed a piece on the flute with my friends, anchored part of the show,  and recited a poem I wrote by myself. There was an intermission where the audience members got refreshments. My favorite part of the show was getting to anchor because I got to express my emotions to the audience and entertain them. Oh, and there was also a video on the school dancing to the song "Happy" and on the Wounded Warrior Project. There were some great dances too. Overall the show was a great success!
So really, I am going to miss Kennedy Park, but its time to move on. Kennedy Park will always be my favorite school, and that's a fact!!!!!

P.S. I got a manicure and pedicure

Hi everybody!

The whole fifth grade went to the Liberty Science Center for a field trip, and it was sooooooooooo much fun! We went to different exhibits in the museum. My favorite one was the animal exhibit, since I love animals.  Our class was divided into groups a different chaperons.  I was in 2 joined groups joined together with my friends and their moms. The best part was when we went through the touch tunnel, in which you had to find your way out of the tunnel in pitch black with secret cameras all around you. I was nervous at first, screaming and clinging to people near me. Luckily, I survived! Another cool exhibit was  skyscraper, in which I experimented and learned about skyscraper. Anyway, we also watched an I MAX movie in a breathtaking, tilted dome-shaped theater. It was amaaaaaaaazing!!!The 3-D made the astronaut-based movie even better! Also, I got a cute necklace in the gift shop with quartz on it. The trip was awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys!

Just so you know, I won't be blogging next week because of the NJ ASK. It will be starting on Monday and ending on Thursday. The NJ ASK test proves what you have learned through the school year. It has the Language Arts portion and Math portion. I am nervous and excited mixed! To help keep relaxed and anti-stressed, I remind myself its just a test and take in a few breaths. Actually, I shouldn't worry because I 've taken it 2 times already, and I am prepared. To the kids that will be taking the ASK with me, good luck. We WILL rock that  test!

When you move and leave all your friends behind, your brother or sister will still be there for you. So lean in and give your sibling a big hug-don't  be embarrassed !

Hi everyone!

I am really excited because the multi cultural fair is coming up this month! I have never been to it, but I know that it is a place where people respect other people's cultures. I am probably going to go in my indian suit. At the fair, kids can dance there cultural dances, like Bharatnatyam. We go there to celebrate each other's differences. It is a place where anybody is welcome. You could be Chinese, Indian, Hispanic, African, or any other culture and come to enjoy the fair with the rest of us!

Hi guys!

Yesterday, my friends and I threw a surprise birthday party for my BFF. It was awesome! We all jumped and screamed "SURPRISE!!!" as soon as she stepped inside the house with her dad and sister. She was soooo shocked. I've never been to a surprise party before, so this one was my first one. I decided that I love it! Surprise parties bring back memories and are fun for everyone. I'm sure this one will go down in history! We had lots of fun, playing around and cheering like the little kids we used to be. I remember hiding behind a wall and jumping out. Those were the one of the best couple of seconds of my life!

Hi guys!

Happy April fools day!!! I pranced lots of classmates and friends. In fact, I even pranked the school nurse! Some of the little kids said " Your shoes are untied." You know what I replied? " I am not even wearing shoe laces!" There were tons of laughs being passed around. Everybody was a good sport. Kids rule April fools day! It is the time to share giggles and of course, the one and only original whoopee cousins! I love April fools day because it can put a smile on anybody's face.

Hi everybody!

Well, as most of you know, day before yesterday was St. Patricks Day. It was my lucky day, get it?! Anyway, people wore cute green tops and clover earrings to school. The teachers were dressed up too! At the restraint called, an Irish pub,  it was really crowded and there were beautiful display lights that I could see all the way from my place for the occasion. St. Patrick's day is one of my most favorite holidays because  it makes me feel fortunate and lucky and brings out the true Irish spirit! Remember everybody, stay green!

Weather

Hi guys

The weather has seriosly improved. In my neighborhood, people are strolling to the park.  Some are wandering in short sleeve shirts. It's almost like summer.
