Hi everyone!

Well, let me just start off by saying how disappointed I am that Argentina lost the cups. They still did SUCH an amazing job though. Germany is a great team, and even though they won, I am still with Argentina. Argentina fan today, tomorrow, and forever! I am also a Messi fan too. Go Messi!
Anyway, my friends and I threw a surprise farewell party for our friend and his sister at Merrill Park since they are leaving to India with their parents next month for good. We did a lot of planning- inviting people, decorating, deciding about the food and all. There was a farewell banner, a piniata, cupcakes, pizza, chips, punch, water, a gift, and a presentation of the memories we all had together growing up. The party was awesome! We played games, took pictures, and enjoyed the food. Our friend and his sister were grateful for the party.
Yesterday, the girls had a sleepover together at our other friend's house. It was really exciting! We watched a movie together and commented on the different parts together. We ate a delicious dinner together too and played cards. The game was so fun, we wanted to keep on playing it! Then, we put nailpolish on each other. I put on blue, gold, and green polish.  Next, one of the girls put pretty henna designs on our hands. We stayed up until 2:30 A.M. talking and talking and finally slept. The next day, unfortunately, after a great breakfast of pancakes and watermelon, the sleepover party ended.
Overall though, I did have a pretty swell time!

Lake George

Hi everyone!

Ok, so I went onmy first vacation this summer! It was AWESOME! I had a lot of fun. First, my family and I checked into our hotel, Holiday Inn. It had an indoor pool and outdoor pool, and a cute little restaurant too! After we checked in, my sister and I splashed in the indoor pool. I was sooooooo revealed when the water was warm! Then we went to an Italian resteraunt for my parents anniversary. We ate pasta and termasu for dessert. The next day we went to the actual " Lake George". It was gorgeous! I absolutely LOVED the view. My parents rented a boat there and my dad got a 10 minute lessen on how to drive it. Then we set off across the lake on a journey I like to call " The Sharma Express". My dad drove the boat pretty well ( except for one part where we almost capsized, but hey, he's a beginner right?)  and I enjoyed the cool water trickling down my face. Next, I played mini golf (I am not such a good player) and my sis and I each got a soveneir and icercream from Ben and Jerry. In the night, we got to sit on the dock and watch the pretty fireworks burst and spark color and light over the horizon of the lake for the fourth. Ooh lala! The next day we packed up and explored the beautiful town of Saratoga, which by the way had the best resort I have ever seen. I went horse back riding on a ginormous horse. After that, we changed into our bathing suits and relaxed on the lake George beach. My sister had a little water fight too.  I even sun bathed for the first time! We got icercream from Ben and Jerry's again next. Finally, it was time to go and take that long 4 hour drive back home. Overall, I had the best vacation ever!

Hi everybody!

So listen, I know I didn't write for AGES, but today I'm gonna fill you up on everything!
How awesome is it that it's summer? REALLY AWESOME!!! Just laying on the beach chillaxing under the sun. Exploring different places and everything. The summer also means you can consider yourself a higher grader. I just graduated from elementary school! Now, I'm a sixth grader.
To celebrate, my school gave the whole fifth grade a graduation party and graduation ceremony.  They were awesome! In the party, we danced until our sweat caused one big puddle on the floor! We even got the teachers to dance. The dj played our favorite tunes, and every 5 seconds you would see somebody go up there and request for him to play their jam. Also, there were sooooooooo many snacks. I filled my self up on chips, pizza, and punch.  Finally, the party was over... but everybody had a lot fun!
And of course, the graduation ceremony. In the graduation, all of the parents came. We wore formal clothing and tried to look our best. The fifth graders received certificates for graduating fifth grade, for club 100, and for any extracurricular activities. Then, one of the third grade teachers put together a short video together of the fun times we had at Kennedy Park school and of us when we were little ( we were so adorable). The principal cried  and so did some teachers.
There is also the talent show! In  Iselin Middle School, one of the teachers organized a talent show to raise money for the wounded warrior project.  Participants and the audience had to pay for the tickets to the show. In the show, I performed a piece on the flute with my friends, anchored part of the show,  and recited a poem I wrote by myself. There was an intermission where the audience members got refreshments. My favorite part of the show was getting to anchor because I got to express my emotions to the audience and entertain them. Oh, and there was also a video on the school dancing to the song "Happy" and on the Wounded Warrior Project. There were some great dances too. Overall the show was a great success!
So really, I am going to miss Kennedy Park, but its time to move on. Kennedy Park will always be my favorite school, and that's a fact!!!!!
