Hey guys!

Today, at my school, there was an assembly held in which a lady explained to us about disabilities. I enjoyed the assembly very much. There were activities planned for the children to experience how it would be like to have a disability .One activity required putting on a mask and arranging blocks using sense of touch.  It showed you how it would be like if you had a visual disability. Over all, I'd say the activities were really fun!
Also, in the assembly, a lady explained different types of  disabilities to us. We learned fancy words for such disabilities, like cerebral palsy. In the end of the assembly, the lady revealed that she had 2 disabilities, mobility and visual disability. Then, astonishingly, the lady rolled up her pant sleeve and showed us that she had a mechanical leg due to an infection. Also, she was blind from her left eye. Everybody gasped. The lady must have been so proud and brave to have been up on the stage teaching with such disabilities.
Boy, I am very thankful that I don't have any disability!!!
